[Machine] Read to him, and say to him, how did you hear the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever starts a good practice in Islam, will have the reward for it, and the reward of all who practice it, without anything being reduced from their rewards. And whoever starts an evil practice in Islam, will have the sin of it, and the sin of all who practice it, without anything being reduced from their sins."  

الطبراني:٢٤٤٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّرْمَقِيُّ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَالِدٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي أَبِي إِلَى جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

اقْرَأْ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَقُلْ لَهُ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً صَالِحَةً فَاتُّبِعَ فِيهَا وَعُمِلَ بِهَا» قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ وَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ «لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً فَاتُّبِعَ فِيهَا وَعُمِلَ بِهَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ إِثْمِ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ إِثْمِهِمْ شَيْءٌ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed after him, will have a reward for that and the equivalent of their reward, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. Whoever introduces an evil practice that is followed after him, will bear the burden of sin for that and the equivalent of their burden of sin, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest.'" أحمد:١٠٥٥٦حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةَ ضَلَالٍ فَاتُّبِعَ عَلَيْهَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ أَوْزَارِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةَ هُدًى فَاتُّبِعَ عَلَيْهَا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أُجُورِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed, he will receive its reward and a reward equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their reward in their slightest. And whoever introduces a bad practice that is followed, he will receive its sin and a burden of sin equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest.'" الدارمي:٥٢٩أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً حَسَنَةً عُمِلَ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُنْقَصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ وِزْرِ مَنْ يعَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُنْقَصَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِم شَيْءٌ»
