أُمُّ طَارِقٍ مَوْلَاةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ

tabarani:21911Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī > ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah > Jarīr > al-Aʿmash > Jaʿfar b. Yazīd > Um Ṭāriq Mawlāh Saʿd b. ʿUbādah

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came to Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah and greeted him, but he did not respond and remained silent. Sa'd regretted this and said to me, "Go and inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that we remained silent out of hope that he would give us more." So I went and told the Prophet ﷺ what had happened. He came and greeted us at the door; I could hear his voice but could not see him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who are you?" I replied, "I am Umm Mildam." He said, "Neither welcome nor greetings to you."
