[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ approached me and I said, "There is no desire in me towards you, O Messenger of Allah, but I do not want to marry while my children are still young." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Why not? The best of women are those of Quraish who ride camels. They are the most tender towards their children in their youth and the most caring towards their husbands."  

الطبراني:٢١٥٣٣حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَتْ

خَطَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ مَا بِي عَنْكَ رَغْبَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَتَزَوَّجَ وَبَنِيَّ صِغَارٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِمَ؟ خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى طِفْلٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى بَعْلٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon to Umm Hani bint Abi Talib. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have grown old and I have children." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best women who ride camels are the women of Quraysh. They are the most compassionate towards their young in their childhood and take care of them when they are married. Abu Huraira said, "Maryam, the daughter of Imran, did not ride a camel."  

أحمد:٧٦٥٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي قَدْ كَبِرْتُ وَلِي عِيَالٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍفِي صِغَرِهِ وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَلَمْ تَرْكَبْ مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ بَعِيرًا

The best women who ride the camels are the pious women of the Quraish; they treat with affection children in their childhood and keep a strict watch on the wealth of their spouses. (Using translation from Muslim 2527e)

ذِكْرُ السَّبَبِ الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ قَالَ ﷺ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ gave a sermon to Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib, and she said, "I have grown old and I have children." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best women who rode camels are the women of the Quraysh. They used to be the most affectionate towards their children when they were young and the most caring towards their husbands. No woman, like Maryam bint 'Imran, has ever ridden a camel."  

ابن حبّان:٦٢٦٨أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
