عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ

[Machine] I said to Jabir bin Samurah, "Were you remembering poetry in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He said, "Yes, we used to remember poetry in his presence, and he would laugh and smile."  

الطبراني:٢٠١٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تَذْكُرُونَ الشِّعْرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَعَمْ «كُنَّا نَذْكُرُ عِنْدَهُ الْأَشْعَارَ فَنَضْحَكُ ويَبْتَسِمُ»
