[Machine] "To the Prophet, ﷺ , I have the best of Arab women and the most beautiful among them is Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan. Shall I marry her to you?" He said, "Yes." He said, "And Muawiya, will you appoint him as a scribe?" He said, "Yes."

الطبراني:١٩٨٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا أَبُو زُمَيْلٍ ثنا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ قَالَ

لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ عِنْدِي أَحْسَنُ نِسَاءِ الْعَرَبِ وَأَجْمَلُهُ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أُزَوِّجُكَهَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ وَمُعَاوِيَةُ تَتَّخِذُهُ كَاتِبًا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»
