[Machine] Hafsah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed me that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray two voluntary units before the dawn prayer, and he would make them short.  

الطبراني:١٩٧٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

أَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يُخَفِّفُهُمَا»
