[Machine] There were people in Basra during the time of Ziyad who used to exchange dirhams for dinars unjustly. So, a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ named Hisham ibn 'Amr al-Ansari stood up and said, "Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling gold for paper currency unjustly, and he informed us that it is usury."
