يُونُسُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَلْبَسٍ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ

tabarani:18509[Chain 1] Aḥmad b. al-Muʿallá al-Dimashqī > Hishām b. ʿAmmār [Chain 2] al-Ḥusayn b. al-Samaydaʿ al-Anṭākī > Muḥammad b. al-Mubārak al-Ṣūrī > ʿAmr b. Wāqid > Yūnus b. Maysarah b. Ḥalbas

[Machine] We entered upon Yazid ibn al-Aswad and approached him. Wathilah ibn al-Asqa' also entered upon him. When he looked at him, he extended his hand and wiped his face and chest with it. He had given allegiance to the Messenger of Allah using his hand. Wathilah asked him, "What do you think of your Lord?" He replied, "He is Good." Wathilah then said, "Therefore, rejoice, for I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, 'Indeed, Allah says, "I am as My servant thinks of Me. If he thinks of Me as good, then it is good. And if he thinks of Me as evil, then it is evil."'
