[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever insults a non-Muslim, he will be punished on the Day of Judgment with a whip of fire." So, I said to Mak'hul, "How severe is what is said?" He said, "He is called 'O son of a disbeliever'."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَذَفَ ذِمِّيًّا حُدَّ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسِياطٍ مِنْ نَارٍ» فَقُلْتُ لِمَكْحُولٍ مَا أَشَدُّ مَا يُقَالُ قَالَ يُقَالُ لَهُ «يَا ابْنَ الْكَافِرِ»
