[Machine] From his grandfather, he narrated that the Prophet ﷺ ordered the use of kohl (a type of eyeliner) before sleeping and said, "Let the fasting person be cautious of it."  

الطبراني:١٨٠٠٠حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ هَوْذَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِالْإِثْمِدِ الْمَسْرُوحِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ وَقَالَ «لِيَتَّقِهِ الصَّائِمُ»

The Prophet ﷺ commanded to apply collyrium mixed with musk at the time of sleep. He said: A man who is fasting should abstain from it. Abu Dawud said: Yahya b. Ma'in said to me: This tradition about the use of collyrium is munkar (i.e. contradicts the sound traditions on the subject).
