[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Mu'adh, I am sending you to a people who are People of the Book. So, if you are asked about the galaxy in the sky, say it is the saliva of a serpent beneath the Throne."

الطبراني:١٧٥٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا مُعَاذُ إِنِّي مُرْسِلُكَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أَهْلِ كِتَابٍ فَإِذَا سُأِلْتَ عَنِ الْمَجَرَّةِ الَّتِي فِي السَّمَاءِ فَقُلْ هِيَ لُعَابُ حَيَّةٍ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ

" عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : يَا مُعَاذُ! إِنِّى مُرْسلُكَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ، فَإِذا سُئِلْت عَنِ الْمَجَرَّةِ الَّتِى فِى السَّمَاء فَقُلْ: لُعَابُ حَيَّةٍ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ ".
