[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ imprisoned a man on charges, but then spoke in his favor and set him free.  

الطبراني:١٧١٠٩حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «حَبَسَ رَجُلًا فِي تُهْمَةٍ فَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ فَخَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ»

Bahz bin Hakim, on his father's authority, said that his grandfather told that the Prophet ﷺ imprisoned a man on suspicion.  

أبو داود:٣٦٣٠حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الرَّازِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَبَسَ رَجُلاً فِي تُهْمَةٍ

Bahz bin Hakim, on his father's authority, said that his grandfather told that the Prophet ﷺ imprisoned a man on suspicion. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3630)   

الحاكم:٧٠٦٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الزَّاهِدُ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ قَالَا ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

«إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَبَسَ رَجُلًا فِي تُهْمَةٍ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
