[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to gather us, Abdullah, Ubaidullah, and Qutham, and then he would release his hands like this, extending his arms, and say, "Whoever comes to me first, he will have such and such."  

الطبراني:١٦٥٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْمَازِنِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُنَا أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللهِ وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ وَقُثَمُ فَيُفَرِّجُ يَدَيْهِ هَكَذَا فَيَمُدُّ بَاعَهُ وَيَقُولُ «مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَيَّ فَلَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا»

" عَنْ كَثِيرِ بِنِ الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُنَا أَنَا وعبد اللهِ، وعَبيْد اللهِ وَقثُمٌ فنفرج (*) يَدَيْه هَكَذَا ويمدُّ بَاعَيهِ وَيَقُولُ: مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَّى فَلَه كَذَا وكَذَا" .
