[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, then rinsed his mouth three times and sniffed water into his nose three times, taking fresh water for each. He washed his face three times. After wiping his head, he said, "Like this," and gestured with his hand from the front of his head to the back, reaching as far as the bottom of his neck from his temples.  

الطبراني:١٦٥٢٠حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْكِنْدِيُّ ثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ أبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَضْمَضَ ثَلَاثًا وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا يَأْخُذُ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مَاءً جَدِيدًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمَّا مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ «هَكَذَا» وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ مِنْ مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ بِهِمَا إِلَى أَسْفَلِ عُنُقِهِ مِنْ قِبَلِ قَفَاهُ
