[Machine] I went to convert to Islam when the Prophet ﷺ was sent. I wanted to bring with me two or three men into Islam, so I came to the water where people gathered. There I found a shepherd who was herding their sheep. I said to him, "I will not herd your sheep for you." They asked him, "Why?" He said, "A wolf comes every night and takes the sheep, and our idol stands there, neither harming, benefiting, changing, nor negating." So they returned, and I hoped they would convert. When we woke up in the morning, the shepherd came, alarmed, saying, "Good news, good news, the wolf has come!" He was in front of the idol, crouching. I went with them, and they kissed him and prostrated to him, saying, "Do the same." I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of this incident, and he said, "Satan played with them."
