[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A servant will always remain in a state of soundness in his religion as long as he does not consume alcohol. However, when he drinks it, Allah will remove his covering (of protection) and the devil will become his guardian, leading him towards every evil and diverting him from every good."  

الطبراني:١٦١٣٢حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضِّ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الرَّهَاوِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمِّ أَبِيهِ هِشَامِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ عَائِشٍ الْجُرَشِيُّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَنْ يَزَالَ الْعَبْدُ فِي فُسْحَةٍ مِنْ دِينِهَ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَبِ الْخَمْرَ فَإِذَا شَرِبَهَا خَرَقَ اللهُ عَنْهُ سَتَرَهُ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ وَلِيَّهُ وَسَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ وَرِجْلَهُ يَسُوقُهُ إِلَى كُلِّ شَرٍّ وَيَصْرِفُهُ عَنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ»

"لَنْ يَزَال العَبْدُ فِي فَسحةٍ مِنْ دِينِهِ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَب الخَمْرَ، فَإِذَا شَرِبَها صَرَفَ اللهُ عَنْهُ غِيَرَه (*) وَكانَ الشَّيطَانُ وَلِيَّهُ وَسَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرهُ وَرِجْلَهُ يَسوقُهُ إِلى كلِّ شَر، وَيَصْرِفَهُ عَنْ كُلِّ خَير".
