[Machine] "I saw Ali on the pulpit with a white beard that filled the space between his shoulders," said Yahya ibn Sa'id in his narration. "On his head were locks of hair."  

الطبراني:١٥٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا ؓ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ أَبْيَضَ اللِّحْيَةِ قَدْ مَلَأَتْ مَا بَيْنَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ» زَادَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ «عَلَى رَأْسِهِ زُغَيْبَاتٌ»
