[Machine] "Abu Bakr sent Al-A'laa bin Al-Hadrami with a group of Muslims before the people of Bahrain, who had refused to pay the tax. Abu Bakr sent Al-A'laa to them when they denied giving God his rights in their wealth. He traveled to them with the sea between him and them, until they walked in it with their feet. They cut off a place where ships used to pass before that, and where they still pass today. Allah helped him in fighting them, so they surrendered and refrained from denying God his rights in their wealth."  

«وَبَعَثَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ فِي جَيْشٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قِبَلَ أَهْلِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ وَكَانُوا قَدْ مَنَعُوا الْجِزْيَةَ وَبَعَثَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَيْهِمْ حِينَ مَنَعُوا حَقَّ اللهِ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَسَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمُ الْبَحْرُ حَتَّى مَشَوْا فِيهِ بِأَرْجُلِهِمْ فَقَطَعُوا كَذَلِكَ بِمَكَانٍ كَانَتْ تَجْرِي بِهِ السُّفُنُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَهِيَ تَجْرِي فِيهِ الْيَوْمَ وَقَاتَلَهُمْ وَأَظْهَرَهُ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَسَلَّمُوا فَامْتَنَعُوا مِنْ حَقِّ اللهِ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ»
