عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَعْدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ during a battle. When we were returning to Medina, a woman cried for a man who was martyred with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He asked, "Who is this crying woman?" They said, "She is Fatimah, the daughter of Adiy." He said, "You should marry her to A'ith ibn 'Amr." So her father married her to him and he advised him concerning her.
كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلْنَا رَاجِعِينَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ بَكَتِ امْرَأَةُ رَجُلٍ كَانَ اسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَنْ هَذِهِ الْبَاكِيَةُ؟» فَقَالُوا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ «أَنْتِ إِلَى عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو» فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبَاهُ وَأَوْصَاهُ بِهَا
