أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ وَقَفَ عَلَى جَعْفَرٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَهُوَ قَتِيلٌ قَالَ «فَعَدَدْتُ فِيهِ خَمْسِينَ بَيْنَ طَعْنَةٍ وَضَرْبَةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ مِنْ دُبُرِهِ»
