[Machine] He was called Thumamah and he was in Sana'a. When Uthman was killed, he delivered a sermon and wept intensely. When he woke up and regained consciousness, he said, "Today, leadership of prophethood has been snatched away from the nation of Muhammad ﷺ and has become a monarchy and dictatorship. Whoever seizes something will be dominant over it."  

الطبراني:١٤٠٤حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

يُقَالُ لَهُ ثُمَامَةُ كَانَ عَلَى صَنْعَاءَ فَلَمَّا قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ خَطَبَ فَبَكَى بُكَاءً شَدِيدًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ واسْتَفَاقَ قَالَ «الْيَوْمَ انْتُزِعَتْ خِلَافَةُ النُّبُوَّةِ مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَصَارَتْ مُلْكًا وجَبْرِيَّةً مَنْ أَخَذَ شَيْئًا غَلَبَ عَلَيْهِ»
