[Machine] "O Abu Abdullah, take it with what you have given me," he said, "I swore an oath by a hand, and I did not intend to bring down the devil upon you, I meant to make it humble for you."  

الطبراني:١٣٠٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ الْيَشْكُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَمَعَهُ غُنَيْمَاتٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ بِكَمْ تَبِيعُ غَنَمِكَ هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ آخُذُهَا بِكَذَا وَكَذَا فَحَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يَبِيعَهَا فَانْطَلَقَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ فَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ

يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ خُذْهَا بِالَّذِي أَعْطَيْتَنِي قَالَ «حَلَفْتُ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَلَمْ أَكُنْ لِأُعِينَ الشَّيْطَانَ عَلَيْكَ إِنِّي أُحْنِثُكَ»
