[Machine] Because he sat on a white saddle and it shook green," Said Sa'id ibn Bashir, and Suwaid Abu Hatim informed me that Qatadah used to attribute this hadith to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .  

الطبراني:١٢٩١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا §سُمِّيَ الْخَضِرَ

لِأَنَّهُ قَعَدَ عَلَى فَرْوَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ فَاهْتَزَّتْ خَضْرَاءَ» قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدٌ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
