[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade acquiring slave women as a means of income." I asked Ibn Abbas, "Why did he forbid it?" He said, "Out of fear that they may become incapable, and then you would be left with incapability."  

الطبراني:١٢٦٧٣حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْخُوَارِزْمِيُّ ثنا سَوَّارُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْإِمَاءِ» قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَلِمَ نَهَى عَنْهِ؟ قَالَ «مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَعْجِزْنَ فَتُعْجَزْنَ»
