[Machine] Amr ibn Abi Asim al-Nabeel narrated to me from my father who narrated from Thawr ibn Yazid, who told me that Muslimah ibn Abi Ata narrated from Said ibn Jubayr, who said: Abdullah ibn Abbas and Abdullah ibn Umar witnessed with me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade hunting with dogs, and using slings, and practicing bird divination, and using an amulet. I asked, "What is an amulet?" He said, "Any string or thread."  

الطبراني:١٢٥٥٥حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ

ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنِي مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَطَاءٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ شَهِدَ عِنْدِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ» قُلْتُ مَا الْحَنْتَمُ؟ قَالَ «كُلُّ مَدَرٍ»
