[Machine] The Quraysh used to circumambulate the Kaaba while they were naked, whistling and clapping. So Allah revealed, "Say, 'Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah,'" and they were commanded to wear clothes.  

الطبراني:١٢٣٢٤حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ يَطُوفُونَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَهُمْ عُرَاةٌ يُصَفِّرُونَ وَيُصَفِّقُونَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {قُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ زِينَةَ اللهِ} فَأُمِرُوا بِالثِّيَابِ
