[Machine] The Jews debated with the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Do you eat from what we slaughter, but you do not eat from what Allah has slaughtered?" So Allah (ﷻ) revealed, "{And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned}" (Quran 6:121).  

الطبراني:١٢٢٩٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

خَاصَمَتِ الْيَهُودُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا أَتَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلْنَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلَ اللهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ}

explaining the verse "But the evil ones ever inspire their friend to contend with you" They used to say: Do not eat which Allah killed, but eat which you slaughtered. So Allah revealed the verse: "Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced"...to the end of the verse.  

أبو داود:٢٨١٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ

The Jews came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: We eat which we kill but we do not eat which Allah kills? So Allah revealed: "Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced." to the end of the verse.

البيهقي:١٨٨٩٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

خَاصَمَتِ الْيَهُودُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ تَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلْنَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلَ اللهُ؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ } [الأنعام 121]
