tabarani:11846Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Ayyūb > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās > Lā Aʿlamuh Illā Rafaʿ al-Ḥadīth

[Machine] And he said, "Whoever leaves them (women) out of fear or apprehension of revenge is not one of us." And Ibn Abbas said, "Verily, life is the deception of the jinn, just as the monkeys were transformed from the Children of Israel."  

الطبراني:١١٨٤٦حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِقَتْلِ الْحَيَّاتِ

وَقَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَهُنَّ خَشْيَةَ أَوْ مَخَافَةَ ثأرٍ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا» قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «إِنَّ الْحَيَّاتِ مَسِيخُ الْجِنِّ كَمَا مُسِخَتِ الْقِرَدَةُ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ»

[Machine] "He used to order the killing of snakes and he would say, 'Whoever leaves them (alive) out of fear or the potential effect (of their venom), then he is not one of us.' He (Prophet Muhammad) said, and Ibn Abbas said, 'Indeed, the jinns are the offspring of the jinns, just as the monkeys were transformed from the Children of Israel.'"
