[Machine] It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, will the righteous people be destroyed along with the people of evil in the city?" He said, "Yes." It was then asked, "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Because of their indifference and silence towards the sins against Allah."

الطبراني:١١٧٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الثَّعْلَبِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتُهْلَكُ الْقَرْيَةُ فِيهِمِ الصَّالِحُونَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَقِيلَ لِمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «بِتَهاوُنِهِمْ وسُكُوتِهِمْ عَنْ مَعَاصِي اللهِ»
