[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never fasted on a day seeking its virtue over another day, except for the day of Ashura.  

الطبراني:١١٢٥٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَارُونَ الزينيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«مَا صَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا يَتَحَرَّى فَضْلَهُ عَلَى يَوْمٍ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ إِلَّا يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ»

he heard Ibn 'Abbas, when he was asked about the fast of 'Ashura' say: "I do not know that the Prophet fasted any day because of its virtue, except this day" meaning the month of Ramadan and the day of Ashura.'
