[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Attack and take the women of the yellow people as booty." Some of the hypocrites said, "He wants to tempt you with women." Then Allah revealed, "And among them are those who say, 'Give me permission [to stay back] and do not put me to trial.'"  

الطبراني:١١٠٥٢ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اغْزُوا تَغْنَمُوا بَنَاتَ الْأَصْفَرِ» فَقَالَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِنَّهُ ليَفْتِنُكُمْ بِالنِّسَاءِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفُتِنِّي}

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to embark on the Battle of Tabuk, he asked Jadd ibn Qais, "Do you have any daughters from the tribe of Asfar?" He replied, "Allow me and do not tempt me." Then Allah revealed the verse, "And among them are those who say, 'Allow me [to remain behind] and do not put me to trial.'"  

الطبراني:٢١٥٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَزْوَةَ تَبُوكَ قَالَ لِجَدِّ بْنِ قَيْسٍ «هَلْ لَكَ فِي بَنَاتِ الْأَصْفَرِ» فَقَالَ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي}
