قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ ذُؤَيْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ

[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, people engage in business and pursue their livelihoods, but we are unable to do so." He said, "Don't you want the muadhin (caller to prayer) to have the longest necks on the Day of Resurrection?"  

الطبراني:١٠٨٠حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ثنا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ قَبِيصَةَ بْنَ ذُؤَيْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ بِلَالٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَتَّجِرُونَ وَيَتَّبِعُونُ مَعَايِشَهُمْ وَلَا نَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ نَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنَّ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ أَطْوَلُ النَّاسِ أَعْنَاقًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
