It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Makkah for fifteen nights during the year of the Conquest, (during which time) he shortened his prayer. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1076)  

الطبراني:١٠٧٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخَلَّالُ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ يَقْصُرُ الصَّلَاةَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed fifteen days in Mecca in the year of Conquest. Shortening the prayer. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by 'Abdah b. Sulaiman, Ahmad b. Khalid al-Wahbi, and Salamah b. Fadli on the authority of Ibn Ishaq ; but they did not mention the name of Ibn 'Abbas.

ahmad:2883 – Yaḥyá b. Ādam And ʾAbū al-Naḍr > Sharīk > Āb.iālʾaṣbahānī > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ performed seventeen rak'ahs in Makkah during the year of conquest. Abu An-Nadr said, "He shortened and performed two rak'ahs."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ يَقْصُرُ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ
