[Machine] We were sitting with Ibn Abbas, in the company of some young men from the Banu Hashim. A man asked him, "Did the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to recite in his own mind during Dhuhr and Asr prayers?" Ibn Abbas replied, "No." The man said, "Perhaps he used to recite quietly to himself."
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي فِتْيَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ هَلْ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ لَعَلَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي نَفْسِهِ
