Ibn ʿAbbās used to say: O Allah, I ask You by the light of Your Face, which shines over the heavens and the earth, that you place me within Your fortress, Your protection, Your guardianship, and under Your shadow.  

الطبراني:١٠٦٠٠حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي فِي حِرْزِكَ وَحِفْظِكَ وَجِوَارِكَ وَتَحْتَ كَنَفِكَ.
