[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prohibited the consumption of domestic donkeys' meat because it was used as food.  

الطبراني:١٠٤٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«إِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ؛ لِأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ مَعْمُولَةً»

نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ  

تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ وَقَالَ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ
nasai:3365 – ʿAmr b. ʿAlī > Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar > al-Zuhrī > al-Ḥasan And ʿAbd Allāh Āb.a Muḥammad > Abīhimā > ʿAlī Balaghah > a man Lā Yará Bi-al-Mutʿah Baʾs

"You are confused, the Messenger of Allah forbade it, and the meat of domestic donkeys on the day of Khaibar."  

النسائي:٣٣٦٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنَىْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا أَنَّ عَلِيًّا بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً لاَ يَرَى بِالْمُتْعَةِ بَأْسًا فَقَالَ

إِنَّكَ تَائِهٌ إِنَّهُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْهَا وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ
