[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the Children of Israel started committing sins, their scholars forbade them but they did not stop. Instead, they would sit with them and continue their actions. Allah then caused their hearts to be set against each other." He then recited the verse, "{Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel}."  

الطبراني:١٠٢٦٥حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السُّدِّيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَذِيمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمَّا أَخَذُوا بِالْمَعَاصِي نَهَاهُمْ عُلَمَاؤُهُمْ فَلَمْ يَنْتَهُوا فَجَالَسُوهُمْ وَوَاصَلُوهُمْ فَضَرَبَ اللهُ قُلُوبَ بَعْضِهِمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ» فَقَالَ {لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ} الْآيَةَ
