The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Make us love Medina as You made us love Mecca, or more, and transfer the fever that is in it, to Al-Juhfa. O Allah! Bless our Mudd and our Sam' (kinds of measures).

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ إِلَيْنَا مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ وَانْقُلْ حُمَّاهَا إِلَى الْجُحْفَةِ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا

When we came to Medina, and it was an unhealthy, uncogenial place, Abu Bakr fell sick and Bilal also fell sick; and when Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the illness of his Companions he said: O Allah, make Medina as congenial to us as you made Mecca congenial or more than that; make it conducive to health, and bleesus in its sa' and in its mudd, and transfer its fever to al-juhfa.

قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَهْىَ وَبِيئَةٌ فَاشْتَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَاشْتَكَى بِلاَلٌ فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ شَكْوَى أَصْحَابِهِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ وَصَحِّحْهَا وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِهَا وَمُدِّهَا وَحَوِّلْ حُمَّاهَا إِلَى الْجُحْفَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Make us love Medina as You made us love Mecca, or more, and transfer the fever that is in it, to Al-Juhfa. O Allah! Bless our Mudd and our Sam' (kinds of measures). (Using translation from Bukhārī 6372)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اللهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ إِلَيْنَا مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِهَا وَمُدِّهَا وَانْقُلْ وَبَاءَهَا إِلَى مَهِيعَةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah PBUH looked at the sky and said, "O Allah, make Medina beloved to us as You have made Mecca beloved to us, or even more beloved. O Allah, bless us in its measures, spans, and inhabitants, and transfer its disease to Mahiya, which is Al-Juhfah."

نَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ إِلَيْنَا مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِهَا وَمُدِّهَا وَانْقُلْ وَبَاءَهَا إِلَى مَهِيعَةَ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ»
