"أَنَا محمَّدٌ النبى الأُمِّى، أنا محمد النبىُّ الأُمِّىُّ، أنا محمدُّ النبىُّ الأُمىُّ، ولا نبىَّ بعدى، أُوتيت فواتح الكلام وخواتِمه وجوامعه، وعُلِّمت كم خزنة النَّارِ
وحملة العرش، وتُجُوِّزَ بى وعُوفيتُ وعُوفِيَتْ أُمَّتِى -فاسمعوا وأَطيعوا مادمت فيكم، فإِذا ذُهبَ بى فعليكم بكتابِ اللَّهِ، أَحِلُّوا حَلَالَه وحرِّموا حرامَهُ" .
[Machine] Narrated Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day, like he was bidding us farewell, and he said, "I am Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet. I am Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet. I am Muhammad, the illiterate Prophet. There will be no prophet after me. I have been given the opening of speech, and its conclusions. I have been given knowledge of the treasures of the Fire, and was made victorious with terror (in the hearts of my enemies). The entire Earth has been made a sanctuary for me and my nation. So listen and obey me for as long as you live. So when I am gone, resort to the Book of Allah. Permit what it permits and prohibit what it prohibits."
قَالَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ يَقُولُ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا كَالْمُوَدِّعِ فَقَالَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ النَّبِيُّ الْأُمِّيُّ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ النَّبِيُّ الْأُمِّيُّ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ النَّبِيُّ الْأُمِّيُّ ثَلَاثًا وَلَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي أُوتِيتُ فَوَاتِحَ الْكَلِمِ وَجَوَامِعَهُ وَخَوَاتِمَهُ وَعَلِمْتُ كَمْ خَزَنَةُ النَّارِ وَحَمَلَةُ الْعَرْشِ وَتُجُوِّزَ بِي وَعُوفِيتُ وَعُوفِيَتْ أُمَّتِي فَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا مَا دُمْتُ فِيكُمْ فَإِذَا ذُهِبَ بِي فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ أَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day like someone bidding farewell, and he said, "I am Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet. I have said this three times, and there is no Prophet after me. I have been given the opening and conclusion of all matters, and I have been given knowledge of how much Hellfire contains, its carriers, and how it will be stocked. I have been given authority over just rulers and solace for my nation. So listen and obey as long as you remain with me. When I am gone, you should adhere to the book of Allah, permit what it permits, and prohibit what it prohibits."
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا كَالْمُوَدِّعِ فَقَالَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ النَّبِيُّ الْأُمِّيُّ قَالَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي أُوتِيتُ فَوَاتِحَ الْكَلِمِ وَخَوَاتِمَهُ وَجَوَامِعَهُ وَعَلِمْتُ كَمْ خَزَنَةُ النَّارِ وَحَمَلَةُ الْعَرْشِ وَتُجُوِّزَ بِي وَعُوفِيتُ وَعُوفِيَتْ أُمَّتِي فَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا مَا دُمْتُ فِيكُمْ فَإِذَا ذُهِبَ بِي فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ أَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ
