"إِنِّى لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ، إِنِّى أَبِيتُ يُطعِمُنِى رَبِّى وَيَسْقِينِى).

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of excessive attachment (to worldly things)." They asked, "But you, O Messenger of Allah, are continuously connected to such things." He replied, "Indeed, I am not like you. I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and quenches my thirst."  

الدارمي:١٧٤٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ» مَرَّتَيْنِ قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي»
