"عَنْ مُحَمَّد بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِى أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! إِنَّ أُمَّ سَعْدٍ فِى حَيَاتِهَا كَانَتْ تَحُجُّ مِنْ مَالِى وَتَصَّدَّقُ، وَتَصِلُ الرَّحِم وَتنفق مِنْ مَالِى، وَإِنَّهَا قَدْ مَاتَتْ فَهَلْ يَنْفَعُهَا أَنْ أَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ عَنْهَا؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ".
