"كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُدْلِي رَأْسَهُ إِلَيَّ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ - يَعْنِي مُعْتَكِفًا فَيَضَعُهُ في حِجْرِي فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ".

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bring his head towards me when he was next door (observing I’tikaf), and I would wash it and comb his hair, when I was in my apartment and I was menstruating, and he was in the mosque.”
