"إِنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَأرْسَلَ إِلَيْه فَخَرَجَ وَرَأسُهُ تَقْطُرُ، فَقَالَ: لَعَلَّنَا أَعْجَلْنَاكَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ الله، قَالَ: إِذَا أُعْجِلتَ أَوْ أُقْحِطْتَ فَعَليْكَ الْوضُوءُ".

Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for a Ansari man who came with water dropping from his head. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perhaps we have forced you to hurry up, haven't we?" The Ansari replied, "Yes." Messenger of Allah ﷺ further said, "If you are forced to hurry up (during intercourse) or you do not discharge then ablution is due on you (This order was canceled later on, i.e. one has to take a bath).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ happened to pass by (the house) of a man amongst the Ansar, and he sent for him. He came out and water was trickling down from his head. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: Perhaps we put you to haste. He said: Yes. Messenger of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said: When you made haste or semen is not emitted, bathing is not obligatory for you, but ablution is binding. Ibn Bashshir has narrated it with a minor alteration.

He said, "If you are hurried (by someone) or obstructed (from orgasm) and do not ejaculate, then you do not have to take a bath, but you should perform ablution."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to the house of a man from the Ansar (helpers) and when he came out, his head was dripping. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perhaps we hurried you?" The man replied, "If I was hurried or become bald, there is no obligation for you to wash (for Janaba)."
