"عَن ابْن مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ الله نَظَرَ في قُلُوب الْعِبَادِ، فَاخْتَارَ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ فَبَعَثَهُ بِرِسَالَتِهِ وَانْتَجَبَهُ بِعلْمِهِ، ثُمَ نَظَرَ فِى قُلُوبِ النَّاسِ بَعْدَهُ، فَاخْتَارَ لَهُ أَصْحَابًا فَجَعَلَهُمْ أَنْصَارَ دِينِهِ وَوُزَرَاءَ نَبيِّهِ، وَمَا رآهُ الْمُؤْمنُونَ حَسَنًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَ الله حَسَنٌ، وَمَا رآهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَبيحًا فَهوَ عِنْدَ الله قَبِيحٌ".
[AI] Indeed, Allah looked into the hearts of His servants and found the heart of Muhammad ﷺ to be the best of hearts among His servants. So, He chose him for Himself and sent him with His message. Then, Allah looked into the hearts of His servants after the heart of Muhammad and found the hearts of his companions to be the best of hearts among His servants. So, He appointed them as ministers of His Prophet, fighting for His religion. Whatever the Muslims see as good, it is considered good in the sight of Allah, and whatever they see as bad, it is considered bad in the sight of Allah.
إِنَّ اللهَ نَظَرَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَوَجَدَ قَلْبَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ خَيْرَ قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَاصْطَفَاهُ لِنَفْسِهِ فَابْتَعَثَهُ بِرِسَالَتِهِ ثُمَّ نَظَرَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ بَعْدَ قَلْبِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَوَجَدَ قُلُوبَ أَصْحَابِهِ خَيْرَ قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَجَعَلَهُمْ وُزَرَاءَ نَبِيِّهِ يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى دِينِهِ فَمَا رَأَى الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَسَنًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللهِ حَسَنٌ وَمَا رَأَوْا سَيِّئًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللهِ سَيِّئٌ
قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ نَظَرَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَوَجَدَ قَلْبَ مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرَ قُلُوبٍ ثُمَّ نَظَرَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَوَجَدَ قُلُوبَ أَصْحَابِهِ خَيْرَ قُلُوبِ الْعِبَادِ فَجَعَلَهُمْ أَنْصَارَ دِينِهِ مَا رَآهُ الْمُؤْمِنُ حَسَنًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ حَسَنٌ وَمَا رَآهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَبِيحًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ قَبِيحٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَوَاهُ غَيْرُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
[AI] "Indeed, Allah looked into the hearts of His servants and chose Muhammad ﷺ , sending him with His message and selecting him with his knowledge. Then, He looked into the hearts of people and chose his companions, making them ministers of his Prophet ﷺ and supporters of his religion. So, whatever the believers see as good is considered good in the sight of Allah, and whatever the believers see as ugly is considered ugly in the sight of Allah."
