The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take out an 'Anazah (a short spear) on the day of Al-Fitr and the day of Al-Adha, plant it in the ground, and pray facing toward it.

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ used to take out the she-goat with him on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in order to let her graze, then he would pray towards it.
