The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take out an 'Anazah (a short spear) on the day of Al-Fitr and the day of Al-Adha, plant it in the ground, and pray facing toward it.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُخْرِجُ الْعَنَزَةَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الأَضْحَى يُرْكِزُهَا فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ used to take out the she-goat with him on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in order to let her graze, then he would pray towards it.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُخْرَجُ بِالْعَنَزَةِ مَعَهُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى لِأَنْ يَرْكُزَهَا فَيُصَلِّيَ إِلَيْهَا  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to go out on the day of Eid with a female goat, and he would tie it in front of him and pray towards it.  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُخْرَجُ مَعَهُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ بِعَنَزَةٍ فَيَرْكُزُهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا
