" عَنِ ابنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ عَلِىَّ بْنَ أَبِى طَالِبٍ قَالَ لَهُ: مَا كَانَ مَعَنَا يَوْمَ بَدْر إِلاَّ فَرَسَانِ: فَرَسٌ لِلزُّبيْرِ وَفَرَسٌ لِلمِقْدَادِ ".

لَهُ «مَا كَانَ مَعَنَا إِلَّا فَرَسَانِ فَرَسٌ لِلزُّبَيْرِ وَفَرَسٌ لِلْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ »  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ «» فَإِنَّ أَبَا ثَابِتٍ هُوَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَدِينِيُّ وَأَبُو صَخْرٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْبَجَلِيُّ عَمَّارُ الدُّهْنِيُّ وَكُلُّهُمْ مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
