HAKIM 1339:
from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib —
[Machine] Ali ibn Abi Talib, I washed the Messenger of Allah, then I went to see what would happen to the deceased, but I did not see anything. He was a good person, both alive and dead. I had the duty to bury him and shroud him. Four people were with me: Ali, al-Abbas, al-Fadl, and Salih, who was a servant of the Messenger of Allah. We buried the Messenger of Allah according to Islamic customs, and poured milk over his grave.
