[Machine] On the authority of ʿAlī, who said: “Speak to people about what they understand. Do you like that Allah and His Messenger should be denied?”
"عن عليٍّ قال: حَدِّثوا النَّاسَ بمَا تَعرِفونَ، أَتُحبونَ أَن يكذَّبَ الله ورسُولُه؟ ! ".
Speak to people at their level in order to prevent religious discord
The above mentioned Statement of ʿAli ˹who said: "Speak to the people in a way that they understand. Do you like for Allah and His Messenger to be denied?"˺
بِذَلِكَ: [حَدِّثُوا النَّاسَ، بِمَا يَعْرِفُونَ، أَتُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُكَذَّبَ، اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ]
[Machine] On the authority of Abu al-Tufayl, he said: I heard ʿAlī say: “O people! Do you want Allah and His Messenger to be belied? Speak to the people about what you know, and leave what you do not recognize.”
"عَنْ أَبِى الطُّفَيل قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيّا يَقُولُ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُكَذَّبَ الله وَرَسُولُهُ؟ حَدِّثُوا النَّاسَ بمَا تَعْرِفُونَ، وَدَعُوا مَا تُنْكِرُونَ".
