السيوطي:٤-٢٢٦٩b –

"عَنْ أَبِى الْبَخْتَرِى قَالَ: سُئَلِ عَلِىٌّ عَنْ أَهْلِ الْجَمَلِ، قِيلَ: أَمُشْرِكُونَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: مِنَ الشِّرْكِ فَرُّوا، قِيلَ: أَمُنَافِقُونَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ المُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا، قِيلَ: فَما هُمْ؟ قَالَ: إِخْوَانُنَا بَغَوْا عَلَيْنَا".

[Machine] A man said, "Who will recognize the prostitutes on the day the polytheists were killed?" He meant the people of Nahrwan. Then Ali ibn Abi Talib said, "Run away from associating with them." He asked, "And what about the hypocrites?" He said, "The hypocrites remember Allah but little." He asked, "So who are they?" He said, "A group who transgressed against us, so we prevail over them."
