"أفضلُ المسلمينَ من سَلَم المسلمون من لسانه وَيَدِه، وأكملُ المؤمنين إيمانًا أحسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا، وأفْضَلُ الصَّلاةِ طولُ القُنُوتِ، وأفْضَلُ الصَّدَقةِ جُهْدُ المُقِلَّ".

"أفْضَلُ المؤمنين إسلامًا: من سلم المسلمون من لسانهِ ويَده، وأفضَلُ المؤمنين إيمانًا أحسنهم خُلُقًا، وأفْضَلُ المهاجرين من هَجَرَ ما نهى الله عنه، وأفْضلُ الجهادِ من جاهَدَ نَفسَهُ في ذات الله" .
